Withdrawal & Refunds

1. What this page covers

This page applies to paid subscriptions you buy on this website. For purchases made in the app, sections 6 and 8 of the Terms of Service apply: Apple sells there, and withdrawal and refunds follow the App Store's rules.

2. Who you are contracting with

When you buy on this website, the contract is concluded with us: Taskero UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Graben 2, 55116 Mainz, Germany, registered at Amtsgericht Mainz under HRB 54292.

Stripe handles the payment on our behalf. Your statement and your payment receipt will therefore show “Link” or LINK.COM; Stripe also remits VAT for us and issues the tax invoice. We remain the seller. Every right described on this page is therefore exercised against us, not against Stripe.

3. Right of withdrawal

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract was concluded.

by a clear statement (for example a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the model withdrawal form in section 4, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

If you requested that the service begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated to us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.

If you want to withdraw from the contract, please fill in this form and send it back. You do not have to use this form.

5. Early expiry of the right of withdrawal

So that your subscription works immediately, we collect two express statements from you at checkout: that we should begin performing before the withdrawal period ends, and that you know what follows from that.

What follows is this: your right of withdrawal expires once we have fully performed the contract. If you withdraw during the running term, you owe us reasonable compensation for the service provided up to that point (see section 3, “Effects of withdrawal”).

We record both statements with their timestamp, and you receive them together with the contract confirmation by email.

6. Refunds

After a valid withdrawal we reimburse you as described in section 3. Outside the right of withdrawal there is no entitlement to a refund of a term already paid; if your case is a hardship, do get in touch.

Independently of that, Stripe as the payment processor may issue a refund on its own initiative in certain cases, for example after a complaint about the payment. We remain your contractual partner then too.

7. Cancellation

A subscription runs until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period, using the cancellation button: Cancel contracts here.

Cancellation is not the same as withdrawal: withdrawal unwinds the contract retroactively, cancellation ends it going forward.

8. Purchases in the app

Subscriptions bought in the iOS app through the App Store are sold by Apple. Withdrawal and refunds follow the App Store's rules there; details are in sections 6 and 8 of the Terms of Service. You cancel such a subscription in your Apple account settings — we cannot do that for you.
