Cycling training plan in watts or heart rate
A range for every ride
Your cycling training plan gives every ride a target range and a duration, the easy ones too. You choose how the coach sets the targets: in watts from your FTP, in heart rate from your max heart rate, by speed or by perceived effort.
What the coach plans for cycling
Power zones from your FTP
There's no FTP calculator in the app, so you do the test on the bike first, enter your functional threshold power, and the coach sets your cycling power zones from it.
Cycling training zones: FTP or heart rateHeart rate, speed or feel
If you'd rather ride by heart rate, your zones come from your max heart rate, and you can just as well pick speed or perceived effort.
A race with a date
Pick a road race or criterium, a gran fondo or a time trial, set the date, and the plan works toward it.
Segment by segment
Log each segment with watts, heart rate and cadence, indoors or outdoors, or share a Garmin link and every lap comes in.
A sample week
Here's one example of how a week from a gran fondo training plan could look with gym and running in it.
Combine it with
Your cycling training plan sits in the same calendar as everything else you train, and the coach never puts two hard days back to back.
